Leep Foods Celebrates National Mushroom Day with Local Restaurants

Leep Foods, a regenerative organic mushroom farm in Rochester, NY celebrated National Mushroom Day at the Sibley Building’s Mercantile on Main restaurants on Friday, October 15. 

Four Mercantile on Main restaurants including Palermo’s Market, Cut, Flour Kitchen, and BROTH all featured Leep Foods mushrooms in their dishes today in celebration of National Mushroom Day. 

  • Palermo’s Market featured Shiitake mushrooms on their sandwiches, pizza, and breakfast.

  • Cut featured a mushroom bisque with Blue Oyster mushrooms.

  • Flour Kitchen customers enjoyed a Squash Gnudi with Celery Root-Apple Puree & Braised Blue Oyster Mushrooms.

  • BROTH created a Leep Foods Mushroom Pho broth with Blue Oyster and Shiitake mushrooms.

The Mercantile on Main is an urban eatery where customers can enjoy a curated collection of some of the best food and drink this town has to offer. Leep Foods knew it would be a great place to celebrate National Mushroom Day and small businesses all at once. 

Leep Foods grows Shiitake, Lion’s Mane and Blue Oyster mushrooms right here in Rochester and has also just launched a line of blended burgers and blended sausage products.
